It looks like Hugh Jackman will be hosting the 2009 Oscars.

Breaking with tradition, the Academy has chosen an actor rather than a comedian, going with the recent “People” Sexiest Man Alive, and ‘Australia’ star Jackman. The Aussie has hosted the Tony Awards telecast three times.

The 81st annual Oscars will air on February 22, 2009 on ABC. Really looking forward to it!
