Is Jay Leno moving to prime time?



Five years ago NBC announced that Jay Leno will step down from the “Tonight Show” to make way for Conan O’Brien in May 2010.

But now, rumor has it that NBC has signed Leno for a new contract that will give him a show similar to the “Tonight show”, but in the 10 p.m. timeslot!

Jay Leno is still the leader in late-night TV ratings…so NBC is very interested in keeping him in their network. If he leaves, he might start a new “Tonight” like show at a competing network. Although Conan O’Brien will be taking Leno’s place in the well known show, it is highly likely that we’ll still be seeing Jay’s
